I approach sleep disorders by combining thorough clinical assessment with evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific situation. I work with insomnia, sleep apnea, and circadian rhythm disorders using a mix of behavioral interventions and medical management, and I'm equipped to guide patients through diagnostic testing and ongoing care entirely through telehealth. I'm currently accepting new patients for virtual consultations in New Mexico.

I treat a wide range of sleep disorders including chronic insomnia, obstructive and central sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disturbances. My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), sleep hygiene optimization, and when appropriate, medication management to address underlying sleep physiology. I work with adults experiencing persistent fatigue, non-restorative sleep, difficulty falling or staying asleep, and daytime sleepiness that affects work or daily functioning. During a typical telehealth session, I conduct a detailed sleep history, review any prior sleep studies or diagnostic data, discuss symptoms and their impact on quality of life, and collaboratively develop a treatment plan that may include behavioral strategies, lifestyle modifications, or pharmaceutical interventions. I also help coordinate sleep testing when needed and provide ongoing monitoring to adjust treatment as your sleep improves.
